Why Malayalam first
Many of us find it easier to describe our feelings in the language we grew up with. Words like വിഷമം or ടെൻഷൻ carry meaning that doesn't always translate neatly.
Yet finding a mental health professional who speaks Malayalam, understands the culture, and is transparent about their training and fees can take a lot of searching. Manovae is being built to make that search calmer and clearer — for people in Kerala and for Malayalis wherever they live.
What guides us
Language is care
Being able to explain how you feel in the language you think in can make support feel safer and more natural. Malayalam comes first here, with English alongside.
Respect, without stigma
Looking after your mind is part of looking after yourself. We use plain, respectful language and avoid labels that shame or frighten.
Honest by default
We will only say what is true. We don't publish testimonials, numbers or credentials we can't stand behind.
Built carefully
Mental health deserves patience. We'd rather grow slowly and get things right than move fast and break trust.
