Draft

Terms of Use

The basic terms for using the Manovae website.

Draft prepared: 2 November 2026

Draft — pending legal review

This is an initial draft written to describe our intentions. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet a binding legal document. It will be revised before Manovae offers any service or collects any personal information.

1. About these terms

These terms describe how you may use the Manovae website. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and respectfully.

2. Information only — not medical advice

Manovae helps people learn about mental health support options and, in future, discover mental health professionals. Content on this site is general information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not replace care from a qualified professional.

Support categories shown on the site are browsing aids, not diagnoses.

3. Not an emergency service

Manovae does not provide emergency or crisis support. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. For mental health distress, call Tele-MANAS on 14416. See our safety information.

4. Professional directory

The directory is not yet live. Profiles currently shown are fictional demonstrations and do not represent real, qualified or available professionals.

When real listings are added, professionals will remain responsible for the services they provide. We will describe our verification process and its limits clearly. You should always confirm a professional's qualifications and suitability yourself.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in unauthorised ways.
  • Do not copy or reuse site content for commercial purposes without permission.

6. Changes

We will update these terms as Manovae develops, and before introducing accounts, appointment requests or payments.

7. Governing law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India. The final wording, including jurisdiction, will be confirmed during legal review.
